Back from China with lots

Here we go agaiiiiiinn..

guess where am I? great easy answer!!
Yes, i'm in China. That picture was taken at crowded place called Dongmen, Shenzen. It takes about 40 minutes from my place, Ying Hua Garden hotel.

well, you'll never know what great things you can find there. Amazing!!

my God, i really like to go there many more time, quiet big and interesting place to discover.

it is little bit difficult in communication here in China, not many Chinese people here able to communicate in English. As mine is not very well either, but at least I can understand and able to speak it.

I have a tip for you if you are traveling here to Dongmen and want to buy something, do not hesitate to bid whatever you like to buy in lowest price, as they won't give us (foreigner) cheap price. Even when you think it's cheap. Beware, they can cheat you! hahaha.

And I met great people from Sudan. Hi Mohammed, hi Badreldin! Assalam mualaikum... How are you guys, have you been home in Sudan now? Or perhaps they are extending your special "vacation" there? hahaha. I hope you still remember me.
forgive me for not sending this picture yet to you, well, at least I published it here so everybody could see how full our stomach are. :p

Do not forget you still have to fight Halfi in ping-pong table :D. He is waiting for you...

Wasalam mualaikum wr wb.

Ones again, hope I can see you again China !! I'm coming :D.

S/ash (slash) di IPv4 Addr yang membingungkan (2)

Hi !!

we will continue this subject... Yah off course there is still some information we need to discuss about IP subnetting. but don't worry, it will be very very simple. ;)

in previous subject, we knew what the meaning of the number behind the slash (binary), now we will discuss about the conversion from the binary to decimal, here we are....:

Q: how come the 11111111 be 255 in decimal? Okay... I know I have told you before, it is converted. But do you know how to convert it, do you? or may be the right question is, do you remember how to do it? yeah, that's it what i mean. (cariaman.com)

this picture below will shows how it does:

see, there are eight of number 1, and each one has the calculation. And the blue colored number is the result of the calculation. And if we calculate each result, such as:

128 + 64 + 32 + 16 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 1

the summarized result is 255

hmmm... it still confusing!!

okay, next question...
Q: how about slash eight (/8), what is the format in the subnet? (quiet easy question isn't it?)

A:
in binary will be 11111111.00000000.00000000.00000000
and in decimal will be 255.0.0.0

another question
Q: how about /16, /24, /10, /18, etc?
A: ..... :-/
grrrrrggghhhhhh, GGRRRRRRGGGHHHHH!!
COUNT IT YOUR SELF!! (bhs betawinya: ITUNG AJE NDIRI!!)

i will answer the /10, the rest i will leave it to you
in binary will be 11111111.11000000.00000000.00000000
and in decimal will be 255.192.0.0

Gotcha!
hahaha, quiet bored?

Okay than,
have a nice day and counting!!

S/ash (slash) di IPv4 Addr yang membingungkan

Well, as we know it is a thing in IT Network that confused many people. But, please let me try to explain it as well as I know.

Slash in IP v4 in the subnetting system is described for witch network the IP is.
First I will discuss about common subnet we knew very well, it is; /8 or 255.0.0.0, /16 or 255.255.0.0, and /24 or 255.255.255.0. The detail is as writes below:

there are 4 column in IP subnet, and we use to see it as decimal (255.255.255.255)
Actually, each column contains binary number.

255 means 11111111 (eight 1)
255.255 means 11111111.11111111 (double eight 1 = 16 1)
255.255.255 means 11111111.11111111.11111111 (triple eight 1 = 24 1)
255.255.255.255 means 11111111.11111111.11111111.11111111 (quadruple eight 1 = 32 1)

So, we see IP Address like this: 192.168.10.5 / 26, what is the subnet in binary?
the answer is 26 1 or 11111111.11111111.11111111.11000000.
Great! But wait, it still has one more question left, what is the subnet in decimal?
Off course the answer is 255.255.255.192
If it so, then the IP Address is 192.168.10.5 255.255.255.192

Great!! it is very easy right?!

But how come it become 192? i will only give the clue, that you will need to convert it from binary to decimal :D. Yeah, that easy.

Well, it is only some part of IPv4 knowledge, thank's to Wa' Haji Onno W. Purbo, Oom Pandu Poluan and Mas Yohanes (CNAP Tutor), and to all IT source in Indonesia. Peace!

ke Korea dibayarin Kantor

Enak juga yah ternyata kalo jalan2 dibayarin... :P

gak pernah kepikir sebelumnya gw menapaki negri ginseng, Korea. Hahaha, wong ndeso (nyontek mas Too-Cool).

Judulnya sih VAS & DCN MPLS Training, provide by Samsung di Suwon, Korea Selatan. Tapi yang ada pas belajar itu banyakin bengongnya daripada serius. Pas jalan-jalan baru deh pada serius, konsentrasi penuh, tareek maang!
It was November 2007, winter. Keliatannya aja Matahari terik, tapi suhunya duingin... brrr.

Thank's to Mobile-8 that accommodate me to go there, and to all my Frens for the good support as company member.

Anyway, pengennya sih sekalian keluarga di bayarin... dasar!
